[Message from the player]
I’m so happy to be taking part in the first Yokohama Open.
I compete, of course, but my days are also spent raising my children while I give myself to billiards, and that is exactly why I want to hold on to the feeling of enjoying it.
In my matches, I’d love to enjoy myself to the full, and to play in a way that lets everyone watching feel how fun and fascinating billiards is.
I’ll also be helping out at a booth on the day, so please feel free to come and say hello.
I hope this tournament helps more people feel close to billiards, and come to love it.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful tournament where everyone, players and spectators alike, can smile.
