Form a cheering squad and come to POOL LABO
To everyone with more than one player from the same hall:
While you’re at it, come and cheer, all of you, friends from the hall, seniors and juniors alike.
The B/C class is the stage for players right in the middle of growing.
They sharpen their game in everyday practice, taking advice as they go, and they prepare for the match.
Those players are gathering in Yokohama, carrying the name of their hall on their backs.
A cheer from the friends you always play with eases the nerves.
A senior’s gaze lights the fire of competition.
And both the sting of losing and the joy of winning go deeper when someone is there with you.
That is why we hope not just the players, but everyone from the hall, will come.
Your cheering might change that player’s result.
Watching is free. Coming in partway through is more than welcome.
The venue, POOL LABO, is reserved for the event all day.
As the matches go on, the space for spectators grows, too.
There is a full range of alcohol and soft drinks (food and drink are paid separately).
Cheer on your friends while listening to top pros commentate.
Watch the exhibition match between Hijikata and Lo.
Spend a day steeped in pool, a drink in hand.
Admission for spectators is free.
Especially if you live nearby, there is no reason not to come.
