Thank you for so many entries!

BLUEROSE presents Yokohama Open 2026 has received entries from a great many players.
We are truly grateful.

From pros to A class, and on to B and C class, players across a wide range of levels will be taking part, and everyone on the Organizing Committee feels anew both our anticipation for the tournament and our responsibility.

Each of you, we imagine, has set your sights on one day, February 23 (Mon., public holiday), and been preparing for it.
To answer those feelings, we too are steadily preparing the finest stage we can.

The bracket will be announced by February 17

We are now reviewing the entries and putting together the bracket (the match draw).

Planned announcement: from tomorrow, by Tuesday, February 17

As soon as the bracket is complete, we will publish it on the official website.
We will also announce it on this blog at the same time, so we’d be grateful if you check back regularly.

How the draw is decided

The Yokohama Open Organizing Committee values transparency and fairness.
The draw will take gender and class into account, and will then be decided fairly by an algorithm.
Creating an environment where every participant can compete on equal, fair terms is, we believe, our mission.

Who will you face first? A sense of hard-fought matches to come

Once the bracket is announced, the picture will finally take shape.
“Who will I play first?”
“This side of the bracket looks rough…”
“How many people do I have to beat to win it?”

The simulations running in every player’s head will surely pick up speed.
And the few days from then until the tournament will become a special time of their own.

Some will study their opponents; others will focus on their own game.
Some will lie awake with nerves; others will be too excited to wait for the day to come.
All of it is proof of a contest taken seriously.

With thanks to our sponsors

We also offer our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors supporting this tournament.
Beginning with our title sponsor, BLUEROSE, every company that has endorsed and supported the holding of this tournament.
It is only with your cooperation that this challenge is possible.

The sponsors who walk with us toward the grand goal of “making Yokohama the heart of billiards’ legacy,” and the players.
We believe it is only with both of these, like the two wheels of a cart, that a tournament of real value is born.

The first Yokohama Open, opening soon

The winner’s trophy has arrived, and preparations are going smoothly.
All that remains is to set a stage where the players can give their very best.

Everyone on the Organizing Committee is sincerely looking forward to writing the first page of the history called Yokohama Open together with the players and our sponsors.

Please wait just a little longer for the bracket announcement.

We look forward to seeing you in Yokohama.
