Sumai Agent presents Yokohama BC Count9 Battle 2026 is now just five days away.
Today we have an important announcement to help you enjoy watching on the day even more.
For spectators at the venue: we are introducing an audio streaming service
At this tournament, we will introduce an audio streaming service inside the venue.
Few pool tournaments use a service like this yet. We have a reason for choosing to bring it in.
Commentary by two top pros, Hayato Hijikata and Lo Li-wen — that is one of the highlights of this tournament.
We will also stream live on YouTube, but if you try to follow the commentary on YouTube at the venue, there is a time lag.
The play happening in front of you and the words in your ears fall out of step.
That would cut the real enjoyment in half.
We want people watching in person to enjoy the top pros’ commentary in real time, too — and so we decided to introduce the audio streaming service.
It is very easy to use
No app download needed.
On the day, just scan the QR code posted in the venue with your smartphone.
As on YouTube, the audio begins with the round of 32.
Please bring earphones or headphones
To enjoy the audio streaming service, please bring your own earphones or headphones on the day.
Please refrain from using it during your own matches, but when you are not playing, you can watch other players’ matches while listening to the commentary.
Even the sting of a loss — put your earphones in, keep watching with the top pros’ commentary, and turn it into insight and growth.
That is part of what we hope for, too.
Watching from outside the venue? Use YouTube
Technically, the audio service works outside the venue as well, but it is designed to match the sound to what is happening in front of you, in real time.
If you are watching from home or anywhere outside the venue, please continue to enjoy the broadcast on YouTube Live.

Checklist for the day
✅ Cue and all your gear
✅ Entry fee (¥5,000, cash)
✅ Earphones or headphones
✅ Smartphone (for scanning the QR code and checking the bracket)
✅ A heart on fire
Enjoying a real contest right in front of you while listening to top pros commentate in real time — there are not many tournaments where you can do that.
Please come and enjoy it at the venue.
And there’s more: the exhibition will also be streamed with the players mic’d up
One more thing to look forward to.
In the exhibition match between Hijikata and Lo, both players will be wearing microphones as they play.
“Next, I’ll bring it here.” “With this layout, I’ll build it like this.” — what they are thinking during play turns into words, in real time.
That audio will be streamed on YouTube as well.
Not just commentary on the matches — you can even hear the thinking of pros as they play each other.
Watch at the venue with the audio service, or watch on YouTube — either way, it is not to be missed.
Admission is free. We can’t think of a reason not to come.
If you are even a little curious, let us put it plainly.
Watching costs nothing.
Get swept up cheering on the players.
Discover something new through the top pros’ commentary.
Watch the two pros’ mic’d-up exhibition right in front of you.
Spend a day steeped in pool, with a good drink in hand.
All of this, free of charge.
If pool has touched your life at all, this is a day you are sure to enjoy.
You are very welcome to come partway through.
Come to the venue, and let’s enjoy it together!
