Happy New Year.
This is the Yokohama Open Organizing Committee.
Over the past year, you met our first cry — the founding of the Organizing Committee in December — with generous support and warm hopes. Thank you, truly.
To everyone involved, we offer our deepest gratitude.
2026, with the passion of the Fire Horse
At last, 2026 — the year that counts — has begun.
This year is Hinoe-Uma, the Fire Horse. With the element of fire doubled, it is a year of great energy, said to be a time when passion takes shape and things begin to move powerfully toward the future.
Our vision: “We take on the future of billiards. We create a legacy for Yokohama.”
With the momentum of the Fire Horse at our backs, starting with Yokohama Open 2026 in February, we will press on toward building a platform of several tournaments a year.
We ask for your support and participation
This tournament is a mixed event open to pros and amateurs alike, regardless of gender or nationality, and we hold our commitment to D&I (diversity) dear.
The participation of players, and the support of everyone who helps build this challenge with us, will be the driving force in creating a new legacy for Yokohama.
Entries open Monday, January 5, at 8 p.m.!
At last, entries for the first event of Yokohama Open 2026 will open at 8 p.m. on Monday, January 5.
Full details and how to enter will be announced on our official blog and social media.
We wish you all a brilliant year of leaps forward, as full of passion as the Fire Horse. We look forward to your continued support of the Yokohama Open Organizing Committee this year.
